Final Beats Concert Honouring Hibo Nuura & Celebrating Somali Sound

We closed Somali Week Festival 2025 with a vibrant and emotional celebration at Queen Mary University. The Final Beats Concert brought together musicians and performers honouring the legendary Hibo Nuura, whose influence continues to shape generations of Somali artists.

The night blended nostalgia with a forward-looking energy. Young performers shared the stage with seasoned musicians, creating a bridge between eras of Somali sound. The crowd danced, sang along and embraced the spirit of joy and community that has always defined Somali Week.

It was the perfect finale — a reminder that Somali artistry continues to grow, evolve and inspire.
